Dell Studio 14Z Laptop Review, Price, Photo, and Specs - According to the manufacturer, Dell has announced Studio 14Z, a laptop “thin and light” with 6 colors choice. The Studio 14Z uses a platform based on NVIDIA GeForce 9400M chipset, an energy-efficient chip installed on the motherboard: northbridge, southbridge and graphics card in the same package. The machine can get an intel Core2Duo, the 3GB of DDR3 and the screen is available in two resolutions: 1366×768 or “900p” in option (a priori 1600×900). A hard disk by 2.5 inches with 250GB capacity, the ExpressCard and FireWire are present, but the point of optical drive: in fact, Dell has sacrificed on the altar last weight, but still offers a DVD burner or a combo Blu-ray as an option.

Otherwise the machine seems quite pleasant and well equipped for its price. Without reaching the weight machines Culver, on a relatively light machine and - most importantly - provides a computing power correct. Another advantage is it comes with a 6-cell battery (or optional 8-cell with 6:30 autonomy).
